5 Ways to Detox Your Life

Spring has finally sprung 🌷🌷🌷

With this new energy in the air, I know I'm ready for a Spring Cleanse, so join me as we:

Lighten up your diet

Detox your body

Cleanse your clutter

Get your mind right

Spring cleanse your relationships

Lighten up your diet

When we cleanse in the spring, it is to burn off the winter. Often in the spring we eat lighter and begin to detox and clean our homes. As we shift to a new season it’s a great time to shift our meals to be lighter and full of cleansing foods.

Add lots of greens, steamed veggies, herbs and soups

Drink warm water and sip on soups throughout the day

Eat bitter foods

  • endives, radicchio, dandelion greens

Decrease

  • alcohol, sugar, salt, oil, processed foods, dairy, meat and bread

Detox your body

Morning ritual

  • brush tongue, face oil, breath, add in tea, smile, keep the lights low

Move your body mindfully

Swim in cold water, bath in Epsom salt, foot bath

Sleep, my love!

Cleanse your Clutter

At Home

  • detox your cleaning supplies
    • start with one small area!

Work

  • clean up your email, send yourself flowers!

Get your mind right

Awareness –

  • Notice. bad habits (desert when you’re not hungry, bad behavior that wasn’t really me) Self-awareness – witnessing, see yourself without the mental clutter

Set positive intentions

Analyze your days– get rid of toxic behavior

What makes your happy, loved and nurtured?

Bring awareness to your thoughts- journal, meditation

Spring cleanse your relationships

You are the sum of the 5 people you are around most often

Set boundaries, don’t gossip, get your mind right

Find a tribe that you would like to be life or join (Kaia FIT)
