  • Bidwell Park. From the beauty and serenity of trees and grass to lots of opportunities for exercise, Bidwell Park is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon. Pack a healthy picnic and go for the swimming, hiking, or bicycling. 
  • Bidwell Park Golf Course. Like golf – or want to give it a try? This course is fun, reasonably-priced, and not too challenging. However, you’ll spend plenty of time walking up and down hills, and your body will thank you. 
  • Butte Creek Ecological Preserve. This nearby preserve is an ideal place to go for a hike. Wear good hiking shoes as the terrain can be rough – but that just makes it an even better way to get your workout done. There’s also a variety of wildlife to enjoy.
